A plain-language description of how DogLeg handles website, account, contact, payment, and product information.
1.Overview
DogLeg Digital, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business in Michigan as DogLeg Digital Golf ("DogLeg," "we," "us," or "our"), provides software for golf facilities and is building products for golfers and the businesses that support the game. This policy explains how we handle information submitted through our public website, accounts, communications, and product environments.
Product pages identify which capabilities are available and which are planned as later feature releases. This policy does not imply that every described ecosystem capability is generally available.
2.Information We Collect
- Contact and interest information, including name, email address, phone number, organization, role, facility type, current systems, and the message or request you submit.
- Account and access information for approved users, including authentication identifiers, display information, role, and authorized organization relationships.
- Product information entered by authorized users when required to provide the enabled service, such as facility settings, customer records, bookings, payments, inventory, tournaments, or operating activity.
- Technical and usage information such as IP address, browser, device type, requested pages, timestamps, security events, and cookie choices.
- Communications, feedback, support requests, and documents you choose to send us.
3.Payments
DogLeg uses Helcim for integrated payment processing. Payment information is handled through the applicable Helcim payment experience and facility account. DogLeg may receive transaction identifiers, status, amount, tender information, and other records needed to reconcile, support, refund, and report on transactions, but customers should not submit card numbers through DogLeg contact or support forms.
Do not send card numbers, bank credentials, or other payment secrets through a DogLeg contact or support form.
4.How We Use Information
- Respond to product, pricing, partnership, support, press, career, and other inquiries.
- Create and administer accounts, facility workspaces, subscriptions, implementations, and authorized access.
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the product capabilities that have been enabled for an authorized user.
- Protect accounts, investigate abuse, maintain audit records, and comply with legal obligations.
- Send service communications and, where permitted, product updates that can be unsubscribed from.
5.How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- To service providers that support hosting, authentication, database, email, monitoring, security, and similar operations on our behalf.
- To an authorized facility or organization when the information belongs to or was created through that organization's use of the service.
- To professional advisers and authorities when required to protect rights, investigate misuse, comply with law, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
- To another service only when you request or authorize an integration and the connection is actually available.
6.Security and Access
DogLeg uses account authentication, role and tenant checks, database row-level security, release controls, and other technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the current service. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. DogLeg does not claim a certification, service-level commitment, or independent assurance report unless it is expressly provided in writing.
7.Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security and audit records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention requirements may differ by record type and customer agreement. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to lawful retention and backup processes.
8.Your Choices and Requests
- Request access to or correction of personal information associated with you.
- Request deletion, subject to records we must retain or information controlled by an authorized customer organization.
- Unsubscribe from optional marketing communications using the link provided in the message.
- Control non-essential cookies through the available preference tools and your browser settings.
- Ask how your information is handled in a specific product or integration.
9.Children
The public website and general business services are not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's information unless you are authorized to do so and the applicable DogLeg service expressly supports that use with appropriate safeguards.
10.Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as the product and our legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected in the date shown on this page and communicated when required.
